We are recruiting for a well-established, third-generation family business in Blackpool. As they continue to grow and expand, they are excited to welcome a Finance Assistant to their friendly team. This new role has been created due to the company's substantial growth and will focus on managing all transactional processes, offering a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills within a nurturing environment.

As a Finance Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  • The month end closure and associated reconciliations across both sales and purchase ledgers

  • All sales ledger processes

  • Management of credit control, taking payments, setting up new customers and liaising with the sales team

  • Manage and process all purchase ledger transactions, including raising payments, supplier statement reconciliations.

  • Cash book management, including the posting of receipts, payments, daily bank reconciliation

The ideal candidate will bring relevant experience from a similar role, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both finance and non-finance teams. They should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to their work and enjoys working as part of a team.
