We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join one of our schools in a long term cover position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Business Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4 inspiring students to achieve their full potential in both academic and practical aspects of the subject.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Business Studies.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback.
  • Develop schemes of work that reflect the national curriculum and promote a passion for business.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities or events.
  • Work collaboratively with the Business Studies department and contribute to continuous development.
  • Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and participate in professional development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • A degree in Business Studies or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary school level (Key Stages 3 and 4)
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
