DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER

FULL TIME, SEPT - LONG TERM

£130 – £211 PER DAY

Vida Education are currently working with a good Blackpool secondary school who are recruiting a Design Technology Teacher for a long term cover role starting in September 2024. The school are looking for a Design Technology Teacher who can teacher Product Design or Food Technology to KS3 and KS4 classes. Responsibilities will be that of a full time teacher; planning, marking, meetings and delivering of work. As a DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER you will be required to;

• Plan and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons aligned with the UK Curriculum (Product Design or Food)
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

The ideal candidate will;

• Have strong knowledge and understanding of the Design Technology curriculum (Product Design or Food)
• Have excellent classroom management skills
• Have a minimum of 1 year experience teaching up to KS4
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
