Vision for Education are recruiting for a Teacher of Design Technology for a secondary school based in Blackpool to start January 2025Â
The role
This role will start January 2025 and be ongoing, and likely to be for the rest of the academic year.
The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Design Technology at KS3 and KS4 level. Â Ideally the school would like a specialist in Resistant Materials, however the school would consider applications of qualified teachers from other Design Technology areas. Â

The school is situated just on the outskirts of Blackpool on the Fylde Coast and prides itself on their nurturing and inclusive environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential, and therefore looking for a teacher that demonstrate excellent subject knowledge. The successful teacher will work in a supportive and friendly department and wider school environment. The school is forward thinking and benefits from a proactive Senior Leadership team.
Requirements
To be considered for the Design Technology role you must:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Be adaptable and flexible
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
