We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English teacher to join a vibrant secondary school on a long-term supply basis. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching English and the ability to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4.Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and support students' progress and achievements.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a positive learning environment.
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
- Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for English.
