Higher Level Teaching Assistant

HLTA - Blackpool:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a higher level teaching assistant to join one of our excellent primary schools near to Blackpool, covering lessons while the teacher is on PPA. This is a part time position to start in January.

For this role, you will need excellent knowledge of both core and foundation subjects. You will also be required to communicate effectively with the class teacher to monitor progress.

Position Details:

• Location: Blackpool
• Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant
• Hours: Mon-Wed, 8:15am-3pm
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full time/Part time: Part time role
• Minimum Rate of Pay: 100 per day, depending on experience
• Start date: ASAP
• End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
• Team Teach qualification would be highly desired
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification would be highly desirable

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold right to work in the UK
• Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
