Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Blackpool:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join an SEN school near to Blackpool. This is a full time position to start as soon as possible.
The Role:
- Regular communication with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor the progress of the students
- Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and SEN, both 1-1 and in small groups
- Managing behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner
- Actively engaging with pupils, forming positive rapport
Position Details:
- Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
- Location: Blackpool
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Hours: 8:20am-3:20pm, Mon-Fri
- Full Time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: 110 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Level 3 teaching assistant qualification is essential for this position
- Previous experience supporting children with complex needs
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
