Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Blackpool:

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join an SEN school near to Blackpool. This is a full time position to start as soon as possible.

The Role:

  • Regular communication with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor the progress of the students
  • Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and SEN, both 1-1 and in small groups
  • Managing behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner
  • Actively engaging with pupils, forming positive rapport

Position Details:

  • Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Blackpool
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Hours: 8:20am-3:20pm, Mon-Fri
  • Full Time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £110 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Level 3 teaching assistant qualification is essential for this position
  • Previous experience supporting children with complex needs

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
