LSA - Blackpool:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support KS2 pupils at a lovely school near to Blackpool. You will be required to support pupils with additional needs 1-1.

The Role:

  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Liaising with SENDCO and other members of staff regarding pupils progress
  • Building rapport with staff, students and parents

Position Details:

  • Location: Blackpool
  • Position: Learning Support Assistant
  • Hours: 9am-4pm
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: Jan 2025
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting children in a educational setting
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
  • Good knowledge of the general curriculum for KS2

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
