Location: BlackpoolSalary: Starting at £27,300 to £30,000 per annum, based on experienceHourly Rate: £13.15 to £13.40 per hourPay Date: The 15th of each month (or the preceding Friday if this falls on a Saturday or Sunday). Payments are made in arrears for the previous 4-5 weeks depending on your start date. Starting pay points are allocated based on experience, current specialism, salary, and qualifications.

Role Overview:As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional, bespoke support to the adults in our care. You will supervise and guide a dedicated team of support workers daily, ensuring that the quality of care across our services meets the highest standards. Your experience—specifically at least two years working with adults with learning disabilities and managing challenging behaviors—will be pivotal in maintaining a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert assistance and leadership in delivering individualized care.
  • Supervise support staff to uphold quality standards in service delivery.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance care quality across all services.
  • Manage rota schedules and oversee staff effectively under pressure.

Working Hours:Full-time positions consist of 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility required for a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 and/or Level 3 Health & Social Care Diploma (support for undertaking Level 3 qualifications will be provided).
  • Strong management skills and experience in coordinating teams.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
