Day to day of the role:

  • Engage with young people to build trusting relationships and establish rapport.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate a range of recreational, educational, and social activities.

  • An understanding of the challenges faced by young people and the ability to offer effective support.
  • The ability to connect with young individuals from various backgrounds.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for youth work.
  • Knowledge of relevant youth support services and resources.
