Behaviour Support Worker - Blackpool:

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a calm and resilient behaviour support worker to join a school near Blackpool. This is a full-time position to start after Easter.

The Role:

  • Providing 1-1 support to pupils with behavioural difficulties
  • Implementing effective behaviour management strategies
  • Supporting pupils with their emotional and mental health needs
  • Working alongside the class teacher and other professionals to create a calm and positive learning environment

Position Details:

  • Minimum Rate of Pay: 100 per day, depending on experience
  • Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm
  • Start date: ASAP

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • An childcare or health and social care qualification is highly desired
  • Team Teach training is highly desired

ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
