Pennine NHS Trust in Tameside is excited to announce new block booking opportunities! We invite you to apply for the position of Band-6 Mental Health Practitioner.

Position: Band-6 Mental Health Practitioner
Hours: 37 hours per week (Part-time options available)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Duration: 12 Weeks
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexible days considered)
Location: Tameside

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and prioritise appointments
  • Provide urgent evaluations for acute mental health issues
  • Develop and implement management plans, follow-up care, and referrals, including fast-tracking to specialist services
  • Offer brief crisis interventions and follow-up appointments
  • Deliver brief psychological interventions for mental health concerns
