The Role:
As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the platform, integrating it with third-party tools, and ensuring it supports business objectives. Working closely with key stakeholders, you'll drive technical innovation, maintain system stability, and implement best practices in development and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customise, and optimise Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Design and implement scalable, high-quality code using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
- Integrate Salesforce with third-party APIs and business-critical applications.
- Manage data quality, imports, exports, and security within the platform.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices, and support continuous system improvements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to validate requirements and optimise system functionality.
- Maintain relevant documentation and follow internal software development processes.
- Provide ongoing system support, resolving technical issues and monitoring platform performance.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, mentoring junior team members where required.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including custom Apex coding, Lightning Components, and complex configurations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, best practices, and security standards.
- Hands-on experience with API integrations and linked business applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Salesforce Developer certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II) are highly desirable.
