SEN Teaching AssistantBlackpoolFE CollegeASAP - Temporary Post

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for SEN teaching assistant's for a college based in Blackpool In this role you will be required to provide additional support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. The role will be to start ASAP on a part time, temporary basis 3 days per week. Salary guidance for this post is between £12.00p/h - £12.80 p/h dependant on qualifications and experience. Previous experience supporting within SEN is preferred for this role, however support does not have to have been from an educational setting. Applicants without previous SEN experience will still also be considered.

Within the role you may be expected to deliver support 1:1 or in small groups. You would be required to liaise with colleagues and external agencies ensuring that the correct support is provided for all students.

This role would be suitable for anyone with previous experience supporting young people, in or outside of education who are looking to transfer their skills into a classroom environment and make a difference everyday to the students. To be considered for this position you will require:

  • Hold Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C or above
  • Have a valid DBS or a willingness to apply for one
  • Be committed to undertake any training required
