Your new company

Here at Hays we are constantly working with SEN Schools in the Blackpool area to provide them with Teaching Assistants. With this in mind, we have recently been approached by a couple of the high schools in the Blackpool area who are seeking to secure a teaching assistant to work on a full-time, day-to-day and long-term basis. The school are looking to find someone who can start ASAP and hit the ground running when they start.

Your new role

As a teaching assistant, you are responsible for providing support and assistance to the pupils, this could either be working as a general classroom support or working on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEN. By being a teaching assistant, you should possess good behaviour management skills and hit the ground running by building up those relationships with pupils as well as staff. There is currently a high demand for teaching assistants in the Preston area, so please get in touch if you would like to know more or discuss the roles available.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. As the schools are recruiting immediately, it would be ideal if you could jump straight into the role, however, do not let this put you off applying, as we are always receiving new roles.
