SEN TA - Bury:

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Teaching Assistant who specialises in SEN to work at a lovely primary school near Bury. For this role, you will need previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.

Position Details:

Location: Bury
Position: SEN TA
Hours: 9am-3:30pm
Minimum rate of pay: 100 per day, depending on experience
Start date: December 2024
End date: Ongoing
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only

EXPERIENCE:

Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
Experience of effectively and positively managing behaviour.
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but training can be provided).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
