SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN TA - Blackpool:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to support children with SEN. This will be at a lovely primary school near to Blackpool.

You will need a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and previous experience supporting children in a school setting.

Position Details:

• Location: Blackpool
• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Hours: 8:15am-3:30pm
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full time/Part time: Full time only
• Minimum Rate of Pay: 95 per day, depending on experience
• Start date: January 2025
• End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
• Previous experience supporting children with SEN
• Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
