This role offers a great opportunity to support students across different age groups who have special educational needs.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons.
  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students.
  • Support classroom behavior management and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Help with administrative tasks, classroom setup, and lesson resources.
  • Encourage and support students' participation in school activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an educational setting (preferred but not essential).
  • A genuine passion for working with children.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or teaching assistance (desirable).
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Previous experience with caring for vulnerable individuals (Preferred but not essential)
