Our client, an international travel company, is currently recruiting a dedicated, enthusiastic and professional Travel & Reservations Consultant to assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, duties to include:
Ā· Provide various planning and booking services, including answering customersā questions, making travel suggestions, and booking rooms and tickets.
Ā· Assisting and advising customers who may be choosing from a variety of travel options.
Ā· Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
Ā· Checking the availability of accommodation or transportation on the customersā desired travel dates.
Ā· Helping plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
Ā· Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers.
Ā· Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
Ā· Selling and promoting reservation services.
Ā· Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process.
Ā· Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as tour tickets, travel insurance, or upgraded seats/accommodations.
Ā· Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.
As a successful candidate, you will have experience working in sales or customer service role and experience within the hospitality or travel industries could be beneficial but not essential, together with a professional approach to customer service, great attention to detail and excellent IT Skills and experience of MS products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
