My client is a well-respected industry leader with an excellent reputation and plans for growth. They are looking for an Estimator to join their team.

As an Estimator your role will involve delivering the estimating process to provide accurate specifications, project costings/prices and bill of materials across a wide spectrum of projects.

You will ensure the contract service level agreements (SLAs) relating to quotations are met in full. Provide accurate bill of materials to the in-house team to ensure all tools, plant and materials are available in advance of any project commencement date.

You will meet with new and existing customers to create specifications and conduct detailed site surveys.

Compilation of project packs that will contain all health and safety considerations and site restrictions, Input to project specific documentation and planning and maximising customer satisfaction and company profit will also fall under your remit.

In order to be successful in the Estimator role you will need:

  • Knowledge of relevant business operating systems (Sage 200) (preferred)
  • CAD experience
  • Experienced estimator of construction works
  • CSCS, IOSH, SMSTS or greater
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Effective communicator
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Effective decision maker
  • Computer literate, competent Excel user
