Hours: Full time. Monday - Friday days regular (flexi time)

Here at The Recruitment Co, we are currently recruiting a Data Planner to work for a company based in Blackwood.

You would be responsible for the creation and maintenance of master data within the companies MRP system. Based in European facility, you will form part of a dedicated team establishing the foundation data utilised by the business to conduct repair and maintenance activities associated with commercial aircraft engine nacelles and thrust reversers. The role will report to the Technical
Services Manager and form a key part in our continued success in providing our customers with the service levels expected from a world leading MRO provider.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

  • Providing a key responsive service to the business via Helpdesk system support.
  • Researching Technical Publications/Engineering drawings.
  • Creation, maintenance and revision of master data (Labour & material resource) in SAP.
  • Challenging the validity of such requests to ensure accuracy of data creation.
  • Liaison with key functional Departments.
  • Assisting with other duties as required by the department.
  • Supporting departmental project activity and other CI initiatives.

Position Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in an office, production and/or production engineering/planning environment used to dealing with prioritization of tasks would be desired.
  • Candidate must be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently, interact with other departments challenging when necessary to ensure data standards are maintained. Individuals must be able to effectively use various business tools (SAP, E-Mail, MS Word, Excel etc.), understand manufacturer's specifications, overhaul manuals, process sheets, drawings and other work instructions.
  • Data configuration & Inputting experience essentially desirably (SAP)
  • ability to research & interpret Technical Documentation. Diligence and attentiveness to detail in order to preserve data standards within the MRP system would be essential
