We are recruiting Production Operatives for our client based near Blackwood, Newport and our client is holding a two day induction on 18th and 19th September 2024.

Role: Production OperativesLocation: Near BlackwoodContract Type: Ongoing TemporaryWorking Pattern: Full Time, Continental shift pattern - it is important that you have the flexibility to work both day and night shifts including weekends and bank holidays. Working hours are 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am

Start Dates: ASAP if successful from the induction on 18th and 19th September

Hourly Rate: £11.44ph

Due to the location and the working hours, you should have access to private transportResponsibilities

  • Visually and physically check all products to conform to product quality specifications and document where appropriate
  • During inspection, detect any product defects which occur on a consecutive basis to be reported to Line Supervision.
  • Operate processing equipment where necessary
  • Collect and supply product samples for quality assurance where necessary
  • Maintain GMP standards in all aspects of the role
  • Support the development of "Lean Manufacturing" within the department. Make suggestions for continuous improvement and participate in implementing agreed changes
  • To ensure compliance with all Company rules and regulations, and also maintain a high standard of housekeeping
  • Adhere to and conforms with the required technical and quality specifications in line with the Company's ISO 9000 quality systems

About you:

  • Previous production experience advantageous
  • Ability to work full-time and shift pattern - please note that we aren't able to consider candidates on Student Visa
  • Access to private transport ideal
