Here at The Recruitment Co we are currently recruiting Mechanics to work for a client of ours based in Blackwood. These would be full time permanent positions.

They specialise within the repair and overhaul of Commercial Aircraft Thrust Reversers and Nacelles with OEM and UKCAA and EASA approved repairs.

Main job roles

  • Perform tasks to required standards of the Maintenance Repair Overhaul and Production of aircraft components (Quality, Cost, Delivery) including compliance to regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures
  • Able to safely perform company duties under deadlines and handle multiple priorities whilst ensuring the airworthiness of the product and accuracy of documentation and parts control
  • To support and drive projects and drive Continuous Improvement activities
  • Flexible to business needs and a requirement to work various shift patterns as required
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently

Required Experience

  • Arithmetic and English (reading, writing) skills and able to follow written instructions with precision and having a high attention to detail
  • Preference will be given to people with previous Aerospace background or painting, bonding and mechanical assembly skills.
  • Proficient use of equipment, tools, machinery and computers preferred.
  • Previous Mechanical experience is essential
