Machine Operative

Acorn by Synergie is looking for Machine Operatives to work with their well-established client in the Crumlin area.



The role will involve / require:



*Inspection and packaging of various plastic goods

*A high level of concentration to ensure consistency and fault monitoring.

*If required, machines could be operated on a semi-automatic basis

*Manual handling to include, stacking pallets, wrapping and moving pallets on pallet trolleys

*General Cleaning around workstation.

*Some products may require the use of a cleaning solvent to clean mouldings

*Responsible to fulfil and comply with the company health and safety policies

*Responsible for running more than one machine (when trained)



Essential:

*Previous experience working in factory environment or a similar role

*Own transport due to location

*To provide own safety boots (hi vis will be provided)



Working hours and pay rate:

2 different day shifts available

6:00am - 14:00pm Monday - Friday

10:00am - 18:00pm Monday - Friday

You also have the option to extend your day shift to 10 hour days if you wish to do so

£11.44 per hour



Other information

This job will take successful candidates past the Christmas period (punctuality dependant) and will be reviewed in the new year.
