Close knit team: You will work as part of a small team to deliver efficient processes for a large manufacturing site (circa 250 permanent staff).

Process Engineer duties will include:

  • Contributing to new product introduction processes
  • Monitoring of data to ensure processes are performing to their optimum
  • Use of data to identify areas for improvement
  • Assisting in ensuring all required documentation is in place for all processes
  • Overseeing and leading continuous improvement activities
  • Communicating with customers as required to provide updates on any issues and what corrective actions are being put in place
  • Liaising with other departments to achieve set goals and improvements
  • Updating of project plans as needed
  • Producing reports for management team as required.

To apply for the Process Engineer role, you will need:

  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (automotive, plastics, aerospace, etc.) as a process engineer, manufacturing engineer, production engineer, etc.
  • A relevant technical or engineering qualification (ideally HNC or above).
  • Strong Lean, CI and Six Sigma experience, skilled in the use of tools such as RCA, 5WHYs, Ishikawa, etc. and ideally qualified to Six Sigma Green Belt level
  • Some experience of customer contact as part of your role.
