What Will Your Quality Engineer Role Include?

  • Supporting quality elements of new component development
  • Providing support for product improvements on existing parts
  • Liaising with technical members of staff on projects and regarding non-conformance of products
  • Providing a clear definition of customer expectations for each of their projects
  • Ensuring that components meet the defined and agreed specifications through hands-on auditing processes.
  • Be involved in continuous improvement projects as and when required.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • You will have experience working in quality in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of automotive or plastics manufacturing is desirable.
  • You will hold some form of technical or engineering qualification.
  • Good experience of utilising 8D as a tool.
  • You will be familiar with other quality tools and techniques such as FMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, etc.

What's In It for You?

A salary of £40,000-£45,000 (dependent on experience) + pension, cash plan healthcare, 25 days holidays + Bank holidays, etc.

Working Hours:

Hours of work are 8am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-2:30pm on a Friday.
