Role Overview:

REED Procurement are partnered with a company in the Blackwood area whose product offering  has been in high demand year on year. This role focuses on spend categories that are identified as key areas of cost management for the business, and involves all aspects of sourcing, negotiating and supplier relationship engagement.  This role will allow you to work on and lead new sourcing projects.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Review and cost analysis across all site spend categories with a strong emphasis on cost reductions whilst ensuring value for money.
  • Raw material sourcing from a global supply base.
  • Developing working knowledge of various aspects, including such areas as nutritional raw materials, engineering, services, Capex projects, consumable and indirect spend, laboratory consumables, stationery, and facilities management.
  • Developing real-time systems to track projects, savings, and progress.
  • Supporting our Materials Management Team with supply/supplier issues.
  • Supporting the ongoing development of our ethical and compliance procedures surrounding procurement and supply.
  • Representation of the department at various internal and external meetings.
