Test Engineer

TEST ENGINEER / TEST TECHNICIAN

Opportunity for an Electronic Test Technician / Electronic Test Engineer to join a stable, market leading technology manufacturing business. You will use your experience and expertise to ensure all test equipment and processes are fully operational contributing to a zero defect goal.

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensure all production test equipment is debugged and operating correctly
• Provide first line support on all diagnostic and test equipment
• Diagnose and repair of more complex PCBAs to component level
• Load and change test fixtures, hardware and software as required by production schedule and NPIs
• Monitor production quality through test equipment outputs and feedback data
• Devise test strategy and solutions for new product introduction

Experience you will bring to the role:

• Extensive use and configuration of  automated production test equipment such as flying probe, bed of nails.
• Extensive manual PCB test, de-bug and repair skills to component level
• Ability to advise and specify test requirements for new product introductions
• Production of test work instructions for operator use
• Relevant electronics qualification
