Overview

A reputable care provider in Chester is seeking a dedicated and passionate Care Team Leader to join their team and work across Chester and the surrounding areas. This role requires at least 2 years of experience in the health and social care sector.

Role and Responsibilities

The Care Team Leader will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care while overseeing and supporting a team of care workers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering exceptional care to service users.
  • Meeting and assessing new service users, completing client reviews and risk assessments.
  • Addressing and resolving queries and reporting back to the office.
  • Supervising, mentoring, and conducting spot checks on field staff to ensure adherence to company standards, values, and code of conduct.
  • Maintaining effective communication with field staff, colleagues, and key stakeholders to ensure safe and effective service delivery.

Requirements

  • NVQ/QCF Level 2 and/or Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the health and social care sector.
  • Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and enhance the knowledge and skills of team members.
  • Proficiency in IT and excellent organizational skills.
  • Willingness to participate in 'on-call' and 'back-up' services during out-of-hours as needed.
