Location: Chester
Pay rate: 15.15 p/h (inc shift allowance) for rotating shift role
Week 1 - Mon-Thu 05:45-13:45, Fri 06:00-15:00
Week 2 - Mon-Thu 13:45-22:30
Flexibility is needed to work shifts as and when required.
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Our client in Chester is offering an exciting opportunity as a Process Operator.
As a Process Operator you'll be responsible for carrying out the production of the manufacturing process on a designated production cell (cross-training will be provided). This will involve producing sheet lead using various machine methods; rolling mill, slitter, saw operation.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Achieving the production targets set for the department on a daily basis
  • Highlighting and communicating faults which may cause production delay
  • Ensuring all operating conditions are correct before commencing manufacture
  • Maintaining accurate records of production, and any other operational data as requested by the Team Leader
  • Ensuring the work area is kept clean and safe at all times
  • Promoting and adhering to the company's system and procedures at all times
Key requirements for applicants:
  • Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing / heavy engineering environment
  • Counterbalance FLT experience is MANDATORY for this position
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reach FLT Licence is desirable
  • A flexible approach to work
