Customer Service Advisor

Hays is delighted to be working in partnership with Castle Water based in Blairgowrie to support them during an exciting period of growth for the Customer Services team. Castle Water is one of the leading competitors in their market, servicing more than 250,000 customers as a water retailer. Your new role

Within this Customer Service role, you will be processing customer enquiries submitted through the online portal and webchat functions. You will be responsible for responding to enquiries and investigating any issues and resolving them efficiently in a timely manner. You will act as a first point of contact for business customers, manage customer expectations and liaise with third party stakeholders on behalf of customers.

In this role you will work in a fast-paced environment alongside a wider team, therefore the role requires good communication and collaboration skills. Due to continued growth within the team, the expectation would be to deal with customer queries predominantly through written communication, in addition to an element of on the phone responses. While a customer service background is preferred, you will undergo training to develop the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the role.

What you'll get in return

- Salary of £22,000-£25,000
- Hours of work 9AM-5PM Monday-Friday with 1 hour paid lunch (35 hour working week)
- 28 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day per completed year of service to a maximum of 33 days
