Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are recruiting on behalf of their established & growing client based in Blairgowrie for a permanent Finance Business Partner to join their team. Salary is 50,000 - 60,000 depending on experience + bonus, flexible hybrid working (minimum of 2 days a week in the office) & other benefits. This is a commercial finance position in a growing company that offers career progression and extensive senior stakeholder engagement.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will work with various business stakeholders to prepare & deliver financial information to the business, to understand and drive improved financial performance. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of financial plans and budgets, along with reporting progress against plans and forecast
  • Holding regular budget holder meetings providing insight and challenge to managers to drive improved business results
  • Preparation of management accounts for relevant Heads of Departments, along with related analysis and reporting for Board Packs
  • Financial analysis
  • Manage multiple stakeholders across various teams, providing financial advice and support
  • Engaging with business stakeholders to continually develop and enhance KPIs & business performance
  • Working on various projects including systems transformation & acquisitions
  • Supporting with Audit requests

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified accountant (however part qualified & qualified by experience may be considered with the right experience) with strong experience within finance business partnering, financial analysis and management accounting. You will have strong experience in dealing with various internal & external stakeholders with an ability to easily relay financial information to non-financial individuals. You will have excellent IT skills including Excel.
