Are you a passionate and experienced teacher ready to make a difference in a vibrant school community? We are looking for a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join a wonderful primary school in the Merridale area of Wolverhampton. This is an exciting opportunity to support and inspire a class of young learners, helping them flourish on their educational journey.
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced teacher who can bring warmth, enthusiasm, and a nurturing approach to a Year 4 class. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing excellent support to the children, ensuring they feel valued and empowered as they continue their learning adventure.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting after Easter 2025, with the possibility of extension into the next academic year. The role involves working Monday to Friday, providing the opportunity to work in a supportive, positive environment. We encourage Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to apply!
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with a valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2), particularly Year 4, with planning and assessment responsibilities
- A warm, nurturing, and patient approach to teaching, with the ability to engage and motivate pupils
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- A solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective assessment practices
- A current DBS check (or one issued within the last 12 months)
- At least two strong references available to support your application
