REED are recruiting an experienced Accounts Senior for a Dorset based Accountancy Practice, based in Blandford (Two years plus experience within an accountancy firm required)

Position: Accounts Senior – Part Time 3 days

Blandford Based - Hybrid / Remote Working available

Salary up to £40,000

Working within an office team of 7 / 8, full support available

  • Working with an existing portfolio of clients using Xero, VT Accounting and Tax Calc.
  • Completing Self Assessment Tax Returns for clients
  • Preparing accounts and related tax computations for a small client base (mix of limited companies, partnerships, soletraders, LLPs and charities)
  • Working closely with clients, other members of the accounts team and the director
  • Delivering excellent client service
  • Managing and prioritising work flow, autonomy in the role.
  • Great attention to detail along with strong organisational skills

Our client is looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience working within an accountancy practice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience of Xero, Quickbooks, Sage, Tax Calc and VT Accounting would be advantageous
  • Great attention to detail along with strong organisational skills
  • Pro-active and positive attitude
