A highly successful firm of Accountants are looking for for some extra help during a busy period from an experienced practice Accounts Assistant. While this role is expected to be temporary (circa 2 months) it could become permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for:
- Accounts preparation from incomplete records, preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Assisting with implementing cloud based bookkeeping systems for clients, including advice and trainng
- Draft Corporation Tax returns including tax/capital allowance computations
- Self assessment tax returns
- Use of Xero, VT, Excel etc
- Assisting with problem solving bookkeeping issues
You will need previous practice experience and ideally will have studied AAT / ACA / ACCA etc. The firm are looking for someone to start as soon as possible but can consider those who have short notice periods.
