W D Ritchie Ltd have a vacancy for a full-time carpenter/finishing operative to join our adaptations teams working within domestic properties throughout Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire.Applicants should have a sound knowledge of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry skills within the domestic sector to assist with completion of bathroom and kitchen adaptations for our varied client base.The ability to carry out finishing decorations would be an advantage. Following a successful probationary period, a success applicant will be offered the following:

• Good rate of pay up to £15 p/h depending on experience
• Statutory pension contribution

In return, a successful applicant will:

• Have previous experience within the role applied
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Be prepared to work on a full- time basis of 42.5 hours per week (8am 5pm)
• Prepared to undertake a formal DBS check
• Ability to work alone as well as within a team
• Be trustworthy, respectful and understanding towards the needs of our clients

We are a small, family orientated team of approximately 8 onsite operatives of various trades.We work throughout the local area undertaking domestic adaptations to enhance the living standards of less able and vulnerable residents within society.We have worked hard over the years to develop and maintain a longstanding relationship with most local Social Services departments, Local Authority Councils, Housing Associations, Private individuals and Charitable organisations.
