You will be working for a leading firm of Accountants and Business Advisers operating across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics, with a wide network of employees and an abundance of inspiring opportunities to join one of their many offices. They are a top ten accountancy firm in the UK and are the number one largest SME practice.

As an Assistant Manager, you will have the ability and motivation needed to own and manage a client portfolio with minimal support from senior staff; support in delivering revenue and profitability targets; foster enduring client relationships and develop and inspire the firm's smarter people plan.

Daily duties will include managing a portfolio of clients where your experience of P11ds, IHT and personal tax compliance and dealing with ad hoc duties as they arise. You will be keen to develop further and continue your professional development and to lead, manage, motivate and coach other members of the team, so supervisory experience would be a distinct advantage. You will be working with a great team of like-minded colleagues all focused on supporting each other to perform at their best.

It is likely you will be CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) qualified with strong experience of working within practice and having had exposure to the essential elements of client service and delivery. Clients come from all industries, so exposure to multiple sectors would be a distinct advantage.
