Dani at Avocet Commercial Careers is working with a professional office based in Blandford, and we're on the lookout for someone to join their team for a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave from 25 th November 2024 until 22 nd September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a pivotal role, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office while providing a first-class service to all visitors and staff.

About the Client:

Our client is a professional organisation with a strong reputation in their field. They are seeking an Office Supervisor to lead the reception area and handle essential administrative duties, creating a welcoming environment for clients and visitors.

Office Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • As the Office Supervisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for all visitors and clients, delivering an outstanding front-of-house experience.
  • Manage the operational functions of the office, including buildings maintenance, attendance management, and holiday records.
  • Support the Practice Manager in overseeing staffing resources and ensuring a positive, productive office environment.
  • Maintain a high level of organisation, handling multiple priorities and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.

Office Supervisor Requirements:

  • Experience in a professional reception or front-of-house environment is essential.
  • You should have excellent customer service skills, a professional telephone manner, and a smart, polished presentation.
  • Previous experience as an Office Supervisor or similar role is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • A driver with your own vehicle is preferred due to potential offsite training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive attitude are key traits for this position.
