Purpose

We are recruiting for a Trainee Machine operator to support a busy business in the Dorset area, so if you have a keen interest in engineering and enjoy working in a hands-on role then this could be a great opportunity for you!

Due to the location of the company, owning your own transport is essential for this role!

Responsibilities

As a Trainee Machine Operator, full training will be provided, and responsibilities include:

• Operating automated machinery
• Loading and unloading the machine (can involve heavy lifting)
• Ensuring the machines are running smoothly
• Conducting basic inspection of finished products
• Supporting others within the team where necessary
• Assisting with any other duties as reasonably required

Background

The successful Trainee Machine Operator must have:

• A reliable and hardworking nature
• Strong attention to detail
• A genuine desire to learn new skills
• Good communication skills and able to work alone or within a team
• Their own transport or live locally
