Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)We are looking for Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) to join the Primary Care Network on a full-time basis, starting mid-November 2024 until the end of March 2025.Key Details:

  • Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM (5 days per week)
  • Location: Covering 5 local sites across the Gateshead Inner West area
  • Rate: £45 (LTD) (£39.45 PAYE)
  • Clinical System: Proficiency with EMIS is essential

Responsibilities:

  • Autonomous Consultations: Provide high-quality care independently, handling a variety of clinical cases including acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Patient Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments for both adults and children, diagnosing and managing conditions effectively.
  • Treatment Plans: Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments, ensuring the best outcomes for patient care.
  • Referral Management: Make referrals to specialists or other healthcare professionals when necessary.
  • Multi-Site Coverage: Provide clinical support across five local practices, ensuring continuity of care for the community.
  • Collaborative Working: Liaise with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to maintain a cohesive, team-based approach to care.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EMIS.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in seeing both adults and children is essential.
  • Strong clinical skills and decision-making ability.
