We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Gateshead. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for early years education and a desire to contribute to the development of young minds.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver educational activities that foster the intellectual and social development of children in early years.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
- Assess children’s progress and provide feedback to parents and carers.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the learning environment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is required.
- Strong understanding of the developmental milestones of young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage children and earn their trust and attention.
