- Position Title: Press Brake Operator
- Location: Blaydon-On-Tyne, Gateshed
- Salary: Between 14 / 15.70per hour
- Term:Permanent - Mon to Thurs 8am to 4.30pm & Fri 8am to 3pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team.This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of metals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up press brake machines by installing and aligning tools, dies, and equipment.
- Bending capacity covers materials up to 80mm thick.
- Section lengths up to 12metres giving flexibility of design.
- 1000 tonne capability.
- Operate press brake machinery to bend and form metal components according to blueprints and technical drawings.
Skills:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Experience with press brake machines, including setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of metal types and properties, as well as appropriate handling and bending techniques.
