With a growing team and an ambitious future, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Sales Estimator to join our expanding sales team.

Role Overview:

As a Technical Sales Estimator, you will be a key player in our sales department, liaising with clients to provide accurate cost estimates and technical expertise. You will handle a range of responsibilities including reviewing technical specifications, preparing detailed quotes, and managing customer and supplier information. Working alongside various teams, you will help develop competitive pricing strategies while ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with clients to understand project requirements.
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for a wide range of components.
  • Managing customer and supplier data using ERP systems.
  • Preparing sales quotations in close coordination with manufacturing teams.
  • Reviewing technical drawings and ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Offering technical advice and recommendations during the quoting process.
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends, material costs, and manufacturing processes.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

About You:

  • Degree in engineering, manufacturing, or equivalent experience in a similar sales estimating role.
  • A solid understanding of machining, fabrication, welding, pressing, painting, and laser cutting processes.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and technical drawing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing routes.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as Microsoft Office and CAD software.
