Job Title:Quality Inspector

Shifts:Monday -Thursday 7.00am -5.15pm and overtime on aFriday when required 7.30am -12.30pm @ time and a half.

Rate:32,000 - 35,000 p/a

The Job

  • Perform detailed inspections of materials, components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment.
  • Conduct tests on materials, parts, and products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Ensure products adhere to company and regulatory standards.
  • Interpret and apply quality control standards and procedures.
  • Stay updated on the latest quality control standards and requirements.
  • Identify and report any defects or non-conformities in products.
  • Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results and actions taken.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and providing recommendations.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and test equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
