Property Surveyor

Temporary to Permanent

Newcastle upon Tyne

Sellick Partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Property Surveyor to join a brand new team within one of the most reputable Housing associations in the Northeast.

The Property Surveyor will be responsible for option appraisals, acquisitions, and disposals.

Duties of the Property Surveyor:

  • Deliver the highest possible standard of asset management services, support and advice for the team
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and address any concerns, providing guidance/training/ feedback to support service delivery
  • Disposals and acquisitions - responsible for managing the disposal/acquisition process, providing advice, conveyance plans, liaising with agents and solicitors, negotiations with purchasers and obtaining (if required) consents to dispose and/or acquisition of assets.
  • Valuation services - responsible for providing and/or obtaining valuations for all group activities in accordance with RICS standards and requirements including market valuations, development appraisals and PRTB/RTA valuations

Requirements of the Property Surveyor:

  • Demonstrable achievement in service delivery of Asset and Regeneration Management
  • Real Estate / General Practice Surveying experience
  • Ideally RICS qualified
