Earlies and Late shifts (not rotating)
Assembly Operatives required for a Specialist manufacturing business based in Oxfordshire. We are looking for experienced Assembly Operatives with general manufacturing/production experience preferably assembly However we would potentially look at machine ops and similar skillsets, ideally with experience of production environments. The role will involve general Assembly, and utilisation of basic machinery and hand tools. Ideal candidates will have a mixed background of Assembly and working to drawings
You will be required to work one of the shifts, Earlies or Lates as below (not rotating):
Early shift Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 2.30pm, Friday 6:00am to 11:00am .
Late shift Monday to Thursday 2.30pm to 11.00pm , Friday 11:00am to 4.00pm
You will be required to provide a highly flexible response to variations in demand with minimum supervision, carrying out production activities relating to the manufacture of components and assembly of product. All successful candidates will be required to use hand tools, follow written instructions, and stand at a work bench throughout the day.
Duties will include:
- Basic Mechanical and Electro mechanical assembly of parts and equipment.
- Utilisation of a range of basic hand tools whilst working to drawings and build sheets.
- Work in any area of component manufacturing, product assembly, wiring and test as required to meet delivery requirements.
- Ensure that all components and products are stored tidily and correctly identified.
- Experience of assembly within manufacturing environments.
