Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Operations Manager to join the well established team of our client. As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the children's homes across 4 regions, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety. This role involves working closely with staff, families, and external partners to deliver exceptional service and create a positive environment for both children and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the childrenās homes across 4 regions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant child welfare regulations and quality standards.
- Manage the budgets and resources effectively to meet the operational goals.
- Supervise and support staff, providing leadership and guidance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Work with external agencies, including social services and local authorities, to coordinate care.
- Manage crisis situations and ensure the well-being of all children in care.
- Regularly assess and improve the overall functioning and atmosphere of the homes in the region.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in management, ideally within a children's home or care environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of child protection regulations and safeguarding.
- Ability to manage resources and staff effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to manage challenging situations.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with children.
- Relevant qualifications in social care, child welfare, or related fields are highly desirable.
