Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives in their Wax Production department to assist in the manufacturing, finishing and testing of their products.Â
Main Duties
- Processing parts in accordance with production schedules
- Preparing and testing the ceramic slurry mix
- Loading, operating and unloading the robotic wax injection machine to manufacture ceramic shell moulds. Hand dipping moulds where appropriate
- Removing wax from the ceramic moulds utilising a boilerclave
- Quality checking products and updating records
- Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
- Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing warehouse/production environment
- A good work ethic, strong attention to detail and excellent time keeping skills
- You must be physically fit as the role may involve periods of standing and some manual lifting
- Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided
Hours
46 hours a week. Monday-Thursday 18.00-0600*
*Please be aware you will be required to work the day shift (Apply online only) until fully trained, up to 3 months. A 15% night shift premium will be added once fully trained and working the night shift.
