Production Operative - Nights

Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruitProduction Operativesin theirFettling departmenton a Night Shiftto assist in the manufacturing, finishing and testing of their products.

Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 6pm-6am. 46 Hours per week.Training will take place on a day shift Monday-Friday 6am-2pm OR Monday-Thursday 730am-430pm and Friday 730am-130pm, 40 hours per week, typically for 1-3 weeks.

Main Duties

• Removing excess material from parts using compressed air driven hand tools
• Quality checking products
• Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
• Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing warehouse/production environment
• Good degree of manual dexterity, experience using hand tools
• You must be physically fit as the role will involve periods of standing and some manual lifting.
• Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided
